ok, so I have never heard of boy like girlz, but I do know the killers. I heard this song and was like holy shit! its the same chorus. I hate bands who put 0 thought into there music. Write your own fucking chorus.

Yes, they stole the chorus. I am unsure if it was intentional or not, but it’s the same chords as the Killers song.

haha.. u guys r right.. i do have that in mind.. on the other hand.. i guess the song needs a different chorus.. a great verse and intro but the chorus arent so that catchy and goes well with the song.. it would be superb if its equipped with a much cooler chorus..

i think its just a coincidence, i know Boys Like Girls would never rip off a song from any artist. Boys Like Girls makes their own music with their talents.

when you say that they have the same chorus, what you don’t put much into thought is that the melody sounds the same, lyrically it’s not.
to be honest if this your best example i must say you don’t know much about music. if you would’ve listened to the killers’ songs you would have noticed the melodic similarities they have with other bands, bands that you may know or not. trust me in the world of music, nothing is original anymore, if you’re an avid music lover you would have known that by now. musicians sample other musicians whether or not intentional or vice versa.

i posted this not to say that it was a rip off.. both songs are great but shares the same melodic rhythm chorus.. unintentional and still both rocks
