Tweetdeck has been very well known for being one of the best twitter client for PC, iOS and etc. After the long wait, tweetdeck for Android finally arrives. It is still under beta but everything seems very promising.

Tweetdeck will be the direct competitor to Touiteur in my honest opinion. Both seems very good and serves me well indeed. Since tweetdeck is still under beta stage, I cant do much of a comparison between these two. Perhaps ill come back and do a review once Tweetdeck escaped from beta stage.

From what I’m seeing here, Touiteur has a premium version which includes auto link shortening functionality (link shrinking ). Tweetdeck beta on the other hand does this automatically. We still do not know either there would be a premium version of Tweetdeck or not but we all hope that its free.

Both client in my honest opinion has a good UI but I sorta like how Tweetdeck looks but still touiteur has a sleek design too. It is just that Tweetdeck ‘s UI seems to be out of the native android looks. UI designing can be casual or formal, when apps looks too close to how the OS UI looks like, it wouldn’t be so eye catchy in the end. In terms of UI, Tweetdeck has my vote.

Im not going to elaborate much longer on this. Once Tweetdeck escaped from beta and says hello to the market, I shall do a comparison again between these two.

Why does carriers have the best design? Why does the internal version looks ugly? Take look at the Desire HD / Ace leak.

The leaked device perhaps gonna be the Htc Merge but it could be another phone. Or perhaps, could it be the 4G phone for verizon?

Another rumor is out apart from HTC Ace, now its the HTC Desire HD which is the follow up rumor to the HTC Ace device. This will be the next international flagship of HTC but with “normal” aka un”extraordinary” specs?

It is said that the next device would be :

- 4.3 inch screen (LCD or HTC own rival to super amoled?)

- 8MP camera with 720p video recording capabilities ()

- 4GB of internal storage

- 1Ghz Snapdragon processor

My own words to this, the 4.3 inch would be awesome. Seeing it as the GSM version of the Evo 4G and HTC has to make sure that it is comparable to the current leading screen which is the retina display (IPS) on iPhone4 and the SUPER AMOLED (yes, in capitals) on Samsung Galaxy S. Surely it won’t be an Amoled display as we know bout the Amoled shortage which is happening now. Seems like its going to be LCD just like the Evo 4G which is not bad at all as we all see it or HTC might be using its own LCD as we heard (i don’t think so).

The 8MP camera with 720p capabilites is a must, Droid Incredible and Evo 4G owns that feature and considering this is the update to the flagship HTC Desire, they should provide this on the new device.

4GB of internal storage is very handy eventhough most other manufacturers are going 8GB and above. Micro SD’s are appreciated in this situation, just make sure that there are more internal phone space for Apps installation regardless that Froyo enables moving apps to SD cards.

Last but not least, a 1Ghz snapdragon processor? OMG. The Droid X has TI OMAP 1Ghz which is better and the A4 chipset hummingbird on the Galaxy S is far superior in terms of GPU capabilities. Perhaps 1Ghz is sufficient but in terms of GPUs, the Adreno gpu on snapdragons are so yesterday. Perhaps this device is going to be another new snapdragon as they won’t be releasing the same chip on their new flagship which is not capable of running NFS Shift. Hopefully the new chip (1.5Ghz or dual-core based) would perform better than the previous 1Ghz snapdragon to stay on par with the current leading GPU monsters (Droid X and SGS).

By the way, did anyone noticed that NFS Shift which is demoed on the Nexus 1 is running smooth during Google I/O? How come they are saying that snapdragon adreno is not capable of running it at full frames and why we are not able to reproduce that same performance even on Nexus 1 FRF91? Thats a mystery for sure.

4. Unpack the files in step 1 and place the files onto your root of SD : SD/Res, SD/Maps, SD/Drive

5. Go to your maps folder on your SD and create a new folder, “mys” which refers to malaysian maps. It now should look like this SD/Maps/mys.pak

6. You can delete the wcl folder in the SD/Maps as we’re not going to use it. Thats the worldwide@american maps package

7. Delete the Mobile Maps 2009.mlm file in sd/Maps and replace it with this one. I have already edited it so that it could now load our new map pack replace the old one.

8. And now we’re going to activate it, run sygic mobile maps on your device, run the keygen which is provided in the file in step 1, choose manual activation and copy down your Device ID. Point your .mlm file (sd/Maps/Mobile Maps 2009.mlm) and key in your Device ID and generate the serial number.

9. Key in your serial number for activation and you’re ready to Navigation if it is successful xD

Tips : It is best to copy down your device ID and u cant point your .mlm file to use the keygen at the same time on opening the app as your SD card is mounted. The application cant run on your phone while being mounted. To use the keygen, u will have to mount your SD card to your pc to point at the file. You might experience this issue but no worries, copy down your Device ID somewhere, mount it, generate the serial number then unmount back to open up the app and key in the serial number.

I hope that it is working, do post a thanks on the comments or ask questions if you are having issue here. Cheers

Update : Fixed step3 along with i replaced the filefactory link with my own server mirror.

Hello World, this is the first post from the temporary version of this new blog. Im re-making it and reorganizing and reconstructing what i write about mostly. Lets blog into something more in focus and in scope. This blog is not my own personal blog so don’t bother asking why there isn’t any personal information informed here. And please bear with the videos and nonsense clips i dump in here. Cheers

Update 1 :

Trying to dump back (of course, UPDATE!) all my favourite plugin. And also, this is the new Fusion theme from RocketTheme. Perhaps this will be temporary. Perhaps it would be permanant. I have no proper plans in mind yet. Soon to come, soon will came. Woohoo, new WordPress version.. LOL.. I know that this has been out for so long (v 2.9.2), but ive just got my hands on it. Love the new plugin install feature. Wicked!
