This might be an old news when people have been talking about the Samsung Galaxy Note but for some, good old news are something still worth talking about.

A 5.3inch display shows that a 4.3 or even a 4.5 inch display just isnt too big for your palm. The market actualy refused on this type of product previously by seeing on how tell Dell Streak went but maybe Samsung’s viral marketing would make a change this time. The device is packed with the Exynos processor like in the Galaxy S2 but its bumped clock again now to 1.4Ghz (the GS2 has a bump to 1.2 from 1Ghz previously around its launch). This babe/dude (what ever you call this “beast” is) is still packed with ARM Mali-400 GPU which is the FASTEST up to date smartphone GPU in the market based on its benchmark and we can also say in real life performance. Yes, i did say up to date since we all know that it will be pawned hard by the iPhone 5 which is packed with the same SOC like in the iPad2 which pawns all other devices but the iPad isnt a smartphone so at least before the iPhone 5 is released, Mali-400 is the king.

Its not only about the size, its now all about the HD SuperAmoled display. I dont think that its a huge diff between the Galaxy S2 display in terms of clarity since SGS2 is a WVGA device at 4.3inch while the Galaxy Note is a 720p at 5.3inch. At a 5.3inch display, the 720p clarity wont be at much but we’ll rejudge it again upon seeing it with the naked eye. Maybe samsung did a better job but nahh, i guess 720p 4.3inch devices or even smaller will have a better clarity and sharpness without having to sacrifice the PPI of the display.

The minimum scrolling is quite a silly thing to be advertising since yes the browser will render more stuffs and packing it into the 720p display, just like the HTC Sensation did. Its like fooling the newbies marketing strat by using the minimum scrolling term on the Galaxy Note. Dont they have anything better to say? The device also offers a stylus, some what the HTC Flyer did but i guess Samsung did a well job or perhaps better as the function was intergrated deeply inside the TouchWiz UI it is using.

So, it is a buy? Its a skip for me. Lets see next on what the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has to offer. Yes, a yesterdays news but why not talking bout em, again

It has commenced and this time its serious. Project GalaxySense failed on the Samsung Galaxy S and they are now trying to work it out for the Samsung Galaxy S2. Sense 3.0 is the latest (3D UI) for HTC Android devices and surely it would be a pleasure to get it working on the Samsung Galaxy S2 indeed. Cappychimp is also involved directly as a developer in this project. All the best for them and im very anticipated myself to try and to use it.

Quoted directly from XDA :

Hello everyone,

I am starting this thread for the development and discussion on porting htc sense on our galaxy s ii devices. I have had discussions with some of the developers from the galaxy s forums, who have agreed to help on creating a port for our devices. The original galaxy s thread can be found here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1044637 since i am going to be the only beta tester right now, anyone who is keen to be a beta tester please pm me and i would reply back to you. This is just a starting point of the port so do not expect any developments for weeks or maybe months.

The thread has been made specially for the development/porting of the htc sense ui on our devices. So please be advised that there should be no posts regarding non development and if you are new here, do not bother to post anything. Source code will be posted soon as promised by kenia1234

We all know that CyanogenMod is one of the greatest custom rom ever developed on Android and is available for multiple devices up till now.. and counting.

Steve Kondik said that his intention initially is to improve android from its base but why under Samsung Mobile? We all know Samsung is an all favor of their touchwiz UI and their not so open sourced policity with source codes which is always incomplete and a nightmare to kernel developers.

A dutch retailer perhaps accidentally posted a picture and specs of the next upcoming HTC Virgo (no more family name series ey HTC?). The page was taken down but HTC Inside was able to make a screenshot of it and posted it up.

Recap on specs :

HTC Vigor includes a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 HD display (aint 4.5, 4.3 is an acceptable size i guess for most now), 8 megapixel camera, Android 2.3.4, HTC Sense 3.5 and Beats by Dr. Dre Technology.

It makes me wonder of how quick does HTC makes phone anyway. Samsung is almost to release their Galaxy S2 is the US and HTC seems to be prepared with their fall lineup already. Btw, the design reminded me of DesireZ+DesireHD. Not so sweetly designed but i guess we will just have to wait for its final render to appear.

P/S : Mr. BlurryCam, do your stuffs please…

The specs might seems like this is sorta a 2010 mid range but the overall perhaps will stand up just nice, just like the other HTC in 2011. Perhaps again this might be the HTC Wildfire but tailored specifically for females.

Google is now in the hardware business guys! Google to acquire Motorola Mobility for a deal worth $12.5 billion. This means Google will be releasing their own uber pwning device paired with some TI OMAPS or they might even go for the all famous and stable Qualcomm Snapdragon to ensure high usability of GPS and a super reliable data/signal. Yes, im praising Qualcomm for their chips but indeed its true that they are quite the most stable ive used so far with performance place aside as performance is very subjective and mostly people rely on benchmarks.

Back to the Google talk, “The acquisition of Motorola Mobility, a dedicated Android partner, will enable Google to supercharge the Android ecosystem and will enhance competition in mobile computing. Motorola Mobility will remain a licensee of Android and Android will remain open. Google will run Motorola Mobility as a separate business. ”

Is this a YAY?

The mighty anticipated HTC (yeahh.. not Samsung indeed *pokes at SGS2* ) is almost here. The HTC Evo 3D indeed it is. We all know that this phone is originally for Sprint Network US but there GSM Variant (international version) is almost available everywhere across europe (already is available to certain parts) and very near to Asia.

Im not sure that ive heard about any telco or news about this device being bonded to any local telco for now but Cubic Platforms posted a valid indicator of the price and its availability just now.

According to the image above, the RRP/SRP would be RM2199 so we will be expecting this buddy to be available for around RM2050-2099 from third party and dealers all across Malaysia. The promotion by Cubic Platform includes a Yoobao 4800mah battery bank which i believe can be obtained now for around RM120-150 if you know where to look for it. And before i forgot, Cubic Platforms also offers delivery service
